Geting Organized! Map It All Out.

You should make notes in this part of the process. A simple spreadsheet does wonders!

For example, the chart above shows that:

  • We are taking DrumCongaA and triggering it with a one-bar MIDI event from MIDI track 1
  • Meanwhile "embedding" the audio sample or loop DrumCongaA into the Beatnik Editor Pro's Instrument Bank 3, Instrument #0 (Why zero? You could make it easy, I suppose, and have corresponding numbers, but then you have to program a patch change MIDI controller anyway...so why not zero?)

If you really have your heart set on making those numbers correspond, that program fix is coming up next. Let's move on!
