Choosing Your MIDI Channel

Refer to all 13 values in this tutorial by using the bottom nav bar to go back to "The playRandomNote Instance Method."<

1 - MIDI channel Pick a different MIDI channel 1-16 for every different link, 16 total links possible. Remember, channel 10 is always DRUMS.

One thing to note: if you use all 16 channels, remember that the Beatnik Player (like any other polyphonic synthesizer) has a finite polyphony, or limited number of voices that can be played at once. After that, the bottom note is dropped. The Beatnik Player has 64-note polyphony.
